Why Kyle Waczko?
My name is Kyle Waczko and I want to be your representative in Dawson Trail a community I have served, lived in, and care deeply about.
From conservation efforts and community groups to our local Métis Chapter, I have been engaged in this region long before seeking elected office. I have served on the Giroux Fire Department since 2019 and was elected in 2022 as a councillor in the RM of Ste. Anne. I was also honoured to receive the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Medal, recognizing my local community contributions.
I work a blue-collar job as a plumber, so I know firsthand the frustrations of affordability. That's why I'm proud to stand behind the PC Manitoba plan to raise the Personal Basic Tax limit to $30,000 zero provincial tax on your first $30,000 earned, because you should be able to spend your hard-earned paycheque the way you know best.
As an advocate for the COPP program, I am committed to ensuring our families and communities are safe. That means access to police when needed, an end to revolving-door justice, and a system that holds criminals accountable for their actions.
Timely healthcare matters deeply to our region. With emergency wait times rising across the province, our local hospitals are more important than ever. I am advocating for the regionalization of the Ste. Anne Hospital to access more resources, hire more staff, and improve hours of availability for the people who depend on it.
Having PC Manitoba representation in Dawson Trail means having a strong, community-minded voice at the Legislature someone who shows up, listens, and delivers results.

Why Edna Nabess?
Everything I am today began here in northern Manitoba.
I was born in Cormorant, raised in the traditions of Mathias Colomb Cree Nation, built a business in The Pas, and have spent my life working alongside families and communities throughout the North. The people, cultures, and communities of The Pas–Kameesak have shaped who I am. This is home.
I am running because I believe our communities deserve a strong voice someone who understands the North not because they've read about it, but because they've lived it.
Throughout my life, I have worked to create opportunities for others. Whether supporting Indigenous entrepreneurs, raising a family, opening my home to foster children, helping young people in remote communities, or serving on provincial boards, my purpose has always been the same: to leave my community stronger than I found it.
I believe The Pas–Kameesak has one of the brightest futures in Manitoba. Our region is home to hardworking people, proud Indigenous communities, abundant natural resources, thriving tourism, forestry, mining, fishing, trapping, agriculture, and small businesses that have supported northern families for generations. We have everything we need to succeed. What we need is leadership that believes in our people, works in partnership with our communities, and creates the opportunities that will keep our young people here, attract new investment, and build a stronger future for everyone.
I want to be a strong voice for every community across this riding from The Pas and Opaskwayak Cree Nation to Cormorant, Moose Lake, Pukatawagan, Grand Rapids, Easterville, and every community in between. Every community deserves to be heard. Every family deserves opportunity. Every young person deserves a reason to build their future right here in northern Manitoba.
Politics has never been my ambition. Service has. Serving as your MLA is simply another way I can continue the work I have dedicated my life to listening to people, bringing communities together, and helping build a stronger future for northern Manitoba.
If you place your trust in me, I promise to work hard every day to earn it. I will listen with respect, lead with integrity, and always put the people of The Pas–Kameesak first.
